We stayed for 5 days at a beach resort in North Carolina and didn’t do much else but enjoy the resort facilities and spend quality time together. It was blissful.

Here’s your chance to do it in California.

Experience Radisson Blu Anaheim

Radisson Blu Anaheim, a newcomer to the hotel space in Anaheim reopened in April. This upper-upscale brand from Radisson Hotels Americas has plenty to offer families when visiting this theme park area of California: 326 rooms, with 40 pairs of connecting rooms, and more than 130 rooms with bunk beds!

Radisson Blu Anaheim is offering families the getaway they need with some of the Disney sparkle they’ve been missing.

Before I dive into sharing more about this Anaheim hotel, let’s look at what safety procedures have been implemented for your peace of mind.

Safety guidelines at Radisson Blu Anaheim

You’ll be comforted to know that Radisson Blu Anaheim is adhering to a 20-step protocol to enhance the cleanliness and safety for their guests, which includes:

  • increased cleaning and disinfecting
  • sanitizing stations
  • improved air circulation
  • cash free methods of payments
  • physical distancing

Rooms to suit any size and purpose

Room selection is important for any family, but particularly if you are factoring in working online, as many working adults continue to do.

Not only can you find standard rooms with two queen beds, but a king size with twin bunk beds, or, for larger families, a room with two queens and two twin bunk beds.

These are room configurations I’ve never seen before, giving the Radisson Blu Anaheim a double thumbs up for your family accommodation choices.

They are also beautifully decorated with a light, modern, classy style.

To satisfy your Disney dreams, you can book rooms with a Disney Resort theme park view.

Extended families or friends traveling together  can also access convenient interconnecting rooms.

If remote work is a priority, book a spacious suite which features comfortable seating areas. See all room options here.

Opportunities for Pool Lounging

For Disney-focused vacationers, you’re in luck. Disney is easily within walking distance of the hotel.

For those looking for a luxurious relaxion experience, why not upgrade your pool side vacation with a cabana?

We had one on our recent hotel vacation and it was amazing to have that private shady space. I think the girls shut us out at one stage by pulling the curtain across so they could dive into their books. Who am I kidding? They were probably sneaking onto my phone instead!

The Radisson Blu Anaheim has you covered with two outdoor heated pools and hot tubs.

The main level pool is the Oasis Ground-level pool that features a splash pad, whirlpool, and cabanas. The rooftop pool area offers a more sophisticated experience with rooftop views, firepits and the Blu SkyBar.

You’re covered day and night and regardless of the outside temperatures.

Dining Options at the Radisson Blu Anaheim

A hotel vacation does not have to be absent of good food. Radisson Blu Anaheim has a variety of options.

You can grab a Lavazza coffee during the day and beer or wine in the afternoon in the Blu Marketplace. Available is also gourmet snacks, fresh salads, deli sandwiches, pastries, and artisanal breads.

Want amazing views and cocktails to match?

Grab your place on the 12th floor Blu SkyBar. This is the best place to be for city views and a vibrant California sunset (this state does them well!) You’ll want front row position at the Blu SkyBar to see the Disneyland fireworks lighting up the sky.

The FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar cannot be missed. Here you’ll find delicious California cuisine centered around live-fire cooking featuring fresh local ingredients, local craft beers, California wines and specialty cocktails. I love how you can stay in the comforts of your hotel and still eat local.

The dining flows outside to the pool deck where you can order lunch from your comfy chaise lounge or cabana.

  • Oak Canyon Nature Center is a situated in the Anaheim Hills and covers an area of 58 acres comprised of canyons and.4 miles of hiking trails
  • Why not escape to the beach for the day? Huntington Beach is our favorite beach on the West Coast for its laid back surfie vibe and gorgeous sunsets.
  • The Anaheim Packing District consists of a farmer’s park and 3 buildings housing a variety of restaurants, cafés, breweries, and wine bars. Here, you can find the Anaheim Packing House, which was once a 2-storey citrus packing warehouse dating back to 1925.
