The travel bucket list is every traveler’s most talked about item.
What’s on your list? Where do you want to go next?
“I guess that is another place to add to our list”….is our most common response to travelers’ stories of places we have yet to visit.
You would think after many years of traveling and living around the world that our list would be getting smaller. Not a chance. It’s not until you start traveling that you really begin to see just how much there is to experience.
The Travel Bucket List
Craig and I are yet to get to South and Central America. After reading so many stories from other travelers and bloggers from this region we are inspired to travel there.
Besides, if my brother Stilts claims Colombia as his favorite country after continuous travel around the world for sixteen years, then I have to go see it.
And let’s not forget our Canadian and Kiwi friends.
Our Ultimate Travel Adventure
Our ultimate travel adventure is quite unique. It’s one that would incorporate:
- Our passion for travel
- Our sporting addiction
- Our party spirit
It would take care of all the destinations and experiences on our travel bucket list.
You all know we are huge sporting fans and party enthusiasts. So our ultimate travel adventure has been created by us to incorporate every major sporting event and festival in the world.
Our ultimate travel adventure could go for at least 4 years.
Over this time period we should be able to visit every single World Cup sporting event. Most of these run every four years and are usually held on alternate years to each other.
This is an adventure we are totally focused on making happen and will find a way to get it done. It is going to take some researching, planning, and funding, but we are willing and able.
For now it is just a dream, however all things have to start with a dream right?
Highlighting the Travel Destinations
Following the sporting events around the world like this means we’ll have several weeks to really explore the city, region, and even the country they are held in.
We are just as excited about visiting the destinations themselves and being able to blog about it, share photos and status updates on Facebook, live tweet, take videos, and record podcast’s about our experiences traveling to the regions.
It’s our goal to kick off our ultimate travel adventure this year with the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand, whether we can make that a reality remains to be seen.
