Does the thought of it constrict your breathing? Does it make you pine with desperation and longing that one day you’ll have more of it and will be able to do what you WANT? Or does it fill you with guilt and dirty feelings?
Do you like to pretend that it doesn’t matter because you feel admitting it labels you as shallow and self-serving? (There is nothing wrong with self-serving – you gotta fill your own cup first so you have plenty spilling over for others.)
Money is just an energy and a form of abundance. Abundance is where we came from and so our natural right. It’s not something to be feared or rejected, only embraced.
It’s not the coin or the piece of paper you want, it’s the freedom to choose and define a life that fills you up. It’s the ability it brings to serve and feel good on a soul level.
I don’t buy into the crap that money is evil.
Money is nothing – it’s the fears and what people choose to do with it that’s evil.
The most common complaint I hear from people as to how they can’t travel more, or create the life their soul really yearns for, is because they don’t have the money.
I’ve used that excuse for years and I’m slowly releasing my stronghold grip on it.
Why I Want More Money
It’s about feeling good on a soul level and having the freedom to choose.
Our soul needs space to expand and so abhors restrictive boxes. When we deny what it desires because we ‘have no money,” it shrinks a little.
I want to live the full expression of myself.
Having more money means I can continue to run a business I love and travel with my family. I can choose to do work that serves and feeds my soul. I can work meetings around my children so they have parents who are present to enjoy every milestone and precious moment.
Money also brings us the ability to take care of our body and spirit. I want the freedom to eat organic food, treat my body with massages and natural therapies that soothe and heal.
The more money I have the more I can give to others.
Giving feels good and giving helps. When we feel we don’t have enough we hold back and don’t fully extend our love to others.
I like nice things as well. I’m not really into owning a lot of stuff, but it does feel wonderful to wear clothes you love and drive a good, safe car.
At the start of the year, I began my own little Money Project, which I’ve been sharing on my personal blog Mojito Mother. I was sick of the angst and fear I had around money and how as a result my income didn’t match my efforts.
I set out on a mission to clear my money blocks and heal myself of these underlying issues.
I’m a manifesting machine when it comes to stuff. I can often think of something I want and it appears without any effort on my behalf not long after.
But, I just couldn’t do that with the money, which is a big sign I was in need of healing and growth in that area.
The MONEY PROJECT is a total immersion into the topic of money and the law of abundance.
I’ve been learning all I can from the experts and diving deep into the spiritual nature of money.
I’ve been practicing changing my thoughts and limiting beliefs on money, evaluating my values system in relation to it, and trying alternative methods like energy clearings to help heal my wounds.
Results So Far
The Money Project has been fascinating and deeply rewarding.
I’ve learned an incredible amount and I feel as if I’ve changed so much on a soulular level.
I feel greater enrichment and sense of happiness and peace. I have greater self-love, which only extends out to others. And it is leading me to a path of greater purpose.
Notice how I’ve told you all this as being positive results, rather than diving straight into how much money it’s helping me create.
It’s because it’s not about the money, it’s about the enrichment it can offer your life. It’s about how it helps to increase your self-worth and love and guide you towards a path of deeper purpose and service.
But, the money channels ARE opening up and it is flowing more freely to me.
I have so much clarity as to how much the fear of money held me in chains and kept joy from my every moment.
When you release those fears you live from love and presence and so life is sweeter.
Bringing The Money Project to YOU
I’ve enjoyed the process of The Money Project so much, but I was squirreling it away on Mojito Mother.
My soul searching has shone the light on why I was doing that; it’s just another example of me hiding and shrinking smaller through fear.
Fear that I’ll be rejected or looked at as silly.
I can be pretty woo-woo, but I love the woo-woo. And exposing your fears and vulnerabilities online can be pretty confronting. Just like you, I sometimes worry what people think a little too much.
I’m tired of playing small – life is about sharing in order to help. My latest ebook, Step into your Sacredness, is all about that, so I gotta put my fears aside and walk the talk.
Mojito Mother is my small platform and I don’t really have the time to put into it. What’s the point in learning things that can really help people if I don’t share it properly?
I know YOU need this information as money is your continual blockage stopping you from living your travel dreams! You tell me all the time. (btw, we’ve never had riches to travel, but we’ve made it work for 16 years – you can too!)
I can’t offer you a miracle solution because at the end of the day the openness, embracing and implementing needs to come from you.
But, at least I can reach one hand out and share a new insight I’ve learned to help you walk on your journey.
So I’m Bringing the Money Project to yTravel Blog
(Mojito Mother has been put into hibernation for awhile).
I’ll now be sharing here what I’m learning – tips and tricks, and amazing resources. I’ll be diving into the non-woo woo stuff too. You know budgeting and financial plans and all that icky stuff that I’m still working on finding the love for!
With The Money Project, I share what I learn in order to help you bring more money into your life so you can have the freedom to choose the things that spiritually reward you.
So tell me:
- What are you struggling with?
- What questions would you like answers to?
Let me know so I can incorporate it into my study and share with you.
