Travel Pinspiration: Join the fun on Pinterest
One of the most inspiring things about travel is having a Bucket List.
That list of places you dream of visiting, and all the experiences you want to have!
I often get asked by readers, “How do I know where to travel to?” or “How do you start planning travel?”
My answer: First list all the places you dream of visiting, then fine tune it by researching and looking for that travel inspiration to highlight the right path for you.
One of the best ways to do this is to look at photos.
When we are travel planning we spend days looking at the pictures in brochures and guide books. We often cut them out and create vision boards around our travel inspiration.
Pinterest for Travel Inspiration
Pinterest has magnified the power of that by allowing you to pin all your favourite images to online vision boards, in categories such as road trips, National Parks, Bucket List.
What is also great about Pinterest is many of these images are attached to blog posts or websites about the destination, making your research easier.
We are loving our inspiration on Pinterest so much lately that we have coined our own phrase:
“Travel Pinspiration”
New Weekly Segment: Travel Pinspiration
Last week we started a new segment: Our favourite Pinterest photos of the week
We thought it would be better for many others to join in and share their travel pinspiration too.
How to Follow Travel Pinspiration?
- On Twitter follow hashtag #TravelPinspiration

2. Pin and Tweet blog posts and photos using hashtag #TravelPinspiration
It’s that simple!
P.S…If you are new to Pinterest and want to create a blog post like this based on the theme with pictures from Pinterest, click on the photo you like in Pinterest, press the embed button, copy the code and paste it into the html section of your post! (Remove all the div tags from the code).

Thanks Jo! It should be fun and really easy. I think Pinterest is a great tool for travellers and has so much potential for bloggers too
Great Idea! How do you get the Pinterest Photos into the blog post? I tried copying them in but they were too small and if I made them bigger they do not look any good. Help!
