Recently I visited Cottesloe Beach for the first time during my attendance at the Perth International Arts Festival.
Cottesloe is a beach-side suburb about a 15-minute drive from the city of Perth in Western Australia, and is one of the best places to watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Unfortunately, I was only able to be there in the morning.
The town of Cottesloe is famous for its beaches, cafes, relaxed lifestyle, and it’s Sunday sessions which is when locals throng to the beachfront pubs to watch the sun go down whilst enjoying a few drinks and some music with their mates.
Because of its crystal clear waters and regular swell, Cottesloe beach is also a popular place for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing.
